This is purely a work of art ! This breathtaking map created by FunkaDelic is packed with custom content. The author created his own textures and meshes for this level. Making a great level is difficult enough, but adding quality custom content makes it much more challenging. Despite the maps layout, which leaves little room for zoning and normal methods of optimization, it runs great. I have to say, I expect to see maps this detailed only in the upcoming release of UT3. This map reminds me of one of the UT3 maps that was in a game trailer at some electronics show. A very futuristic and alien design. What also impressed me was the extensive use of the karma engine. Several items in the map react to weapons fire and contact with players...stuff you do not see very often.
I highly recommend this map to be hosted on every CTF server out there. The author gets a score of 10 from me! Great work, and I am eager to see more work from this mapper.

Known bugs : None (but please email me if you find any). Things that you might think are bugs, but aren't: The hanging tubes do not have any collision on them, thus saving me lots of headaches. The sterilization beams also have no collision on them.

Construction Time : About one month.
This map challenges one of the golden rules in multiplayer map design: don't have any wide open areas. This map is almost entirely one zone. I did this because I wanted to eschew any kind of room-corridor-room layout. I also wanted something wide open for instagib CTF matches, my favorite way to play UT2004. Also, since it's been a few years since UT2004's release, I figured I'd go a little crazy with the detail for those with high end machines. That being said, I built this level on my 2 year old laptop, a Pentium M 1.8ghz, 2 gigs of ram, and an nvidia 6600go card and I was able to play with acceptable framerates. But if your machine has lower specs than mine, chances are you'll have a tough time with it.
Unzip the files into your UT2004\ directory. The files should automatically go in the correct subfolders. If they don't, here's where you should put them:
CTF-MobiusConcourse[BETA].ut2 - Maps
MobiusMeshes.usx - StaticMeshes
MobiusTextures.utx - Textures
If you already have my 1on1 Mobius Labs level installed, go ahead and overwrite the packages. This will make some minor cosmetic changes to MobiusLabs, but the map will still be playable.

|The map looks like it came out of unreal championship 2 with the use of clear colored textures (I'm not saying its a port, I'm saying it looks familiar). Looks very nice though. I see the F.E.A.R. font on the screenshots XD. |
